why?

No matter where I go, whatever circumstance I find myself in and no matter how many people I'm in front of, none or thousands...once I am facing an easel with paint in hand,

I am home.

Drawing faces became my passion at the age of 5 years old, and nothing else kept my attention until 2013. That year marked the discovery of creating art spiritually, and sharing the pictures given to me with others. Art is my worship, prayer, and playground that I invite others to join in experiencing freedom.

I travel to paint what I see in the atmosphere at all manner of conferences and live events, comic cons and pride events within the LGBTQ+ community, in healing rooms and encounter tents, or pagan festivals...the artwork bridges the gap between surface differences and becomes opportunity to talk on a different level.

When I paint around others, the act of creating draws others close, facilitating communication with a diverse range of people that I might otherwise never encounter. I value those moments of connection with others, sharing bits of ourselves that aren't typically seen in regular conversations. Each moment is an opportunity for shared acceptance and to show love.

The artwork on these pages are samples from my studio time as well as artwork created at conferences and live ministry events. Each picture has a story behind it, but its even more interesting to me to hear what the art speaks to others, without my filter. Art is powerful. It can speak for itself. Welcome to the pictures in my head.

Look. Enjoy.
